What do you do when your life flashes before your eyes like so much reel-to-reel film and nothing seem fake yet everything is not as it was or as it is or even as it is yet to be? I hope come to realise the correct answer is no answer at all. And then I hope you throw the question to the wind and live life like it wasn't meant to last; I hope you depart this world for just a moment and see the Truth of the matter--for in the end, it is as they say--the Truth really shall Set You Free.

Wisdom (and the teeth thereby named)

So, I had my wisdom teeth out Tuesday. It's not as big a deal as people tried to tell me it would be -- but I suppose they didn't want a nasty surprise if there were any complications. There weren't, if fact I went out shopping the next day to buy an iPod for my parents (using their money, naturally). I've been putting music on it ever since. Took me a bit to figure out how to work it, but once I did it's been pretty smooth sailing. If you're looking for a portable player, the iPod is actually really nice. It works under Linux, yay for that!, and is fairly easy to use once the music's on it. Anyways, that's my update for the time being, I'm going to veg out on the drugs they gave me and listen to music. Auf wiederschreiben!

I liked getting my wisdom teeth taken out. It was my second year of high school and it was during band camp. That whole week, I didn't even notice how long I carried the drum on my shoulders because I could barely feel it. The only bad part was that my face swelled up a little.
