What do you do when your life flashes before your eyes like so much reel-to-reel film and nothing seem fake yet everything is not as it was or as it is or even as it is yet to be? I hope come to realise the correct answer is no answer at all. And then I hope you throw the question to the wind and live life like it wasn't meant to last; I hope you depart this world for just a moment and see the Truth of the matter--for in the end, it is as they say--the Truth really shall Set You Free.

On writing

So, your wayward blogger has taken up a new 'hobby' as some may call it, 'obsession' as may others. I have decided that I shall write everyday, at least a page's worth, in my binder -- in addition to any writing I do for poetry or class or what-have-you. This is, it would seem, the quickest and easiest way to improve my writing skills and to get the creative juices flowinig, as it were. I shall also begin a far more regular regimen of reading -- reading whatever, poetry, novels, shorts, essays, whatever I can get my hands on. And yes, I know I just ended a sentence in a preposition. Get over it ;) At any rate, I just thought I'd inform you on the state of affairs. This is The Nelsonian One, over and out.

Now, I'm all for this but instead of a notebook or journal, you should write on your blog. I bet you could type faster than scribble into a journal. And I bet you could read it better too. ;)

The reason I said doing lj was mainly as a writing exercise.

Looking forward to reading your stuff. If you need an editor or help with submitting, just let me know.
